이번 합동 세일즈는 도·시 담당 공무원들과 대한전문건설협회, 대한기계설비건설협회 관계자들이 공동으로 참여해, 건설경기 침체로 어려움을 겪는 지역 중소 건설업체의 하도급 수주 지원을 목적으로 실시됐다.
