[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 진해루 해변공원에 바다를 마주한 진해루 스마트도서관을 21일 개관했다고 밝혔다.
지난해 12월 U-도서관 서비스 시스템 구축 공모사업에 선정돼 국비와 시비 1억 3천여만원을 투입해, 비대면 도서대출·반납시스템에 600여권의 장서를 갖추고 시민들이 편리하게 이용할 수 있도록 준비를 마쳤다.
진해루 스마트도서관은 가로 5.2m 폭 3m 연면적 15.6㎡로 부스 외관은 진해구를 연상할 수 있는 벚꽃을 분홍색으로 바다는 파란색으로 해군은 흰색으로 표현했다.
시민들의 접근이 용이한 생활 속 공간에 운영 시간의 구애를 받지 않는 비대면 도서관 서비스를 제공해 진해루 해변공원을 찾는 많은 시민들에게 새로운 즐길거리가 될 것으로 기대된다.
