브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 한동훈 법무부 장관은 25일 윤석열 대통령과 사석에서 술자리를 가졌다고 의혹을 제기한 김의겸 더불어민주당 의원에 대해 "매번 입만 열면 거짓말해도 그냥 넘어가 주고 책임을 안 지니까 자기는 그래도 되는 줄 알고 이런 것 같지만 이번엔 달라야 한다"고 말했다.
한동훈 장관은 이날 오전 윤 대통령 시정연설 참석을 위해 국회를 방문, 기자들과 만난 자리에서 "김의겸 의원은 거짓말로 해코지해도 되는 면허를 가진 것처럼 행동한다"며 이같이 밝혔다.
한 장관은 "기억해보니까 청담동이라는 데를 10년 내 가본 적도 없다"며 사실무근이라고 강조했다.
앞서 김의겸 의원은 법사위 국감에서 한동훈 장관이 지난 7월 19~20일 윤석열 대통령과 법무법인 김앤장 변호사 30여명이 함께 서울 청담동 한 술집에서 술자리를 가졌다고 의혹을 제기한 바 있다.
이에 대해 한동훈 장관은 "매번 어디서 들으셨는지 모르겠지만 허황된 말씀을 하시는데 어떤 근거로 말씀하시는지 모르겠다", "장관직을 포함해 앞으로 어떤 공직이라도 다 걸겠다"고 답하며 의혹을 강하게 부인했다.
