핼로윈 데이의 서울 용산구 이태원 참사에 대한 더불어민주당의 입장은, 의외로 조용하다.
이재명 더불어민주당 당대표는 10월30일 오전 입장을 발표했다. 이 자리에서 “국민 여러분, 다시는 일어나서는 안될 참혹한 일이 일어났습니다. 유가족 여러분의 아픔이 얼마나 크겠습니까. 먼저 피해자, 망인 여러분, 죄송합니다. 희생자 분들의 명복을 빕니다. 그리고 유가족 여러분의 마음이 얼마나 아프시겠습니까, 위로의 말씀드립니다. 그리고 부상자들도 빠른 치유가 있기를 바랍니다”고 피력했다.
