브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 경찰 수장인 윤희근 경찰청장과 김광호 서울경찰청장이 이태원 참사 사태를 윤석열 대통령보다 더 늦게 인지한 것으로 드러났다.
3일 경찰청에 따르면 이태원 참사 관할 구역 담당자인 이임재 용산서장은 사고 당일 대통령실 인근에서 열린 집회 현장을 오후 9시경까지 통제하다 참사 발생 5분 후인 오후 10시20분 경 이태원역 인근에 도착했다.
이임재 용산서장은 현장에 도착한지 1시간 16분 뒤인 오후 11시36분에서야 김광호 서울청장에게 첫 보고를 했다.
김광호 서울청장은 이날 9시경 서울 종로구 사무실에서 퇴근했다가 뒤늦게 보고를 받고 다음날인 0시 25분경 사고 현장에 도착했다.
서울청에서 경찰청으로 '치안 상황 보고'가 처음 올라간 시각은 30일 오전 0시 2분이다.
