브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 박지원 전 국가정보원장은 8일 윤석열 대통령이 이태원 참사 당일 경찰의 부실 대응을 강하게 질타한데 대해 "대통령도 뭐했느냐? 뭐하고 왜 경찰만 그렇게 야단치냐"라고 꼬집었다.
박지원 전 원장은 이날 오전 TBS ‘김어준의 뉴스공장’에서 "윤석열 정부의 모든 분이 다 엉터리고, 무정부 상태였다. 경찰이 그렇게 엉터리면 대통령도, 총리도, 행안부 장관도 어떤 의미에서 보면 대한민국 정부가 다 엉터리"라며 이같이 밝혔다.
그는 "경찰한테 ‘너만 잘못했다’ 하면 제일 비겁하다"면서 "대통령실 주요 참모 등 내각 총사퇴를 주장했다.
박 전 원장은 "한덕수 총리를 비롯한 내각, 그리고 김대기 실장을 비롯한 대통령실(을) 총사퇴시키고, 이상민 행정안전부 장관, 경찰청장, 용산구청장 등을 사법처리를 해야 국민이 납득한다"고 주장했다.
이어 그는 윤 대통령을 향해서도 "‘날리면, 바이든, 이XX’ 등에 관해 절대 사과하지 않는다. 이번에도 사과하지 않았다. 세 종교단체에 가서 기도하고 용서 빌면 그것이 사과냐"라며 "고집밖에 없다. 윤 대통령이 사과는 잘 먹지만 사과는 안 한다"고 비판했다.
한편 윤석열 대통령은 지난 7일 국가안전시스템 점검회의에서 경찰의 112신고 접수에 대한 대응부터 시작해 일일이 지적하며 "물끄러미 쳐다만 보고 있었느냐", "그 상황에서 권한이 없다는 말이 나올 수 있느냐" 등의 발언을 하며 강하게 경찰을 질타했다.
