최민호 세종시장이 유럽권 도시와의 교류·협력을 강화하기 위해 유럽출장길에 오른다.
세종시에 따르면 최민호 시장은 8일부터 14일까지 5박 7일간 불가리아, 벨기에 등을 방문해 유럽 도시 교류협력 강화와 함께 2027 하계세계대학경기대회 충청권 유치에 힘을 더한다.
최 시장의 이번 유럽 도시 출장은 유럽권 도시와의 협력관계 강화와 교류분야 논의, 2027 하계세계대학경기대회 유치를 위한 홍보차원에서 마련됐다.
취임 후 첫 국외출장에 나선 최 시장은 9일 불가리아 수도 소피아시와의 양 도시의 도시문제 해결을 위한 창조혁신방안, 지능형도시(스마트시티)조성, 중소기업 지원, 국제행사 상호 방문 등 업무교류체계를 구축하는 것을 목적으로 한 우호협력도시 협약 체결로 첫 일정을 시작한다.
