민생당은 윤석열 대통령이 14일(현지시각) 발리 누사두아 컨벤션센터에서 열린 'B20 서밋 인도네시아 2022' 기조연설에서 '글로벌 복합위기 극복을 위한 기업의 역할, 그리고 디지털 전환 시대의 글로벌 협력'을 주제로 기조연설을 한데 대해 "민생은 빠지고 기업만 배려한 것이 아쉽다"고 평가했다.
양건모 민생당 수석대변인은 15일 논평을 통해 "윤석열 대통령은 기업의 역할과 관련해 ‘경제시스템을 민간 주도, 시장 중심으로 전환, 기업의 투자를 제약하는 규제 완화, 기업이 독자적으로 감당하기 어려운 과학기술에 대한 R&D 투자와 첨단산업 분야의 인재 양성을 위한 지원’ 등을 추진하고, 디지털 전환 시대의 글로벌 협력과 관련하여 ‘디지털 기업들을 위한 규제 완화, 디지털 관련 인재 육성과 교육·직업훈련 개혁, 인공지능, 차세대 통신, 사이버 보안과 같은 핵심 디지털 분야의 기술 개발도 집중지원 할 것’ 등을 언급했다"고 설명했다.
이어 "윤석열 대통령이 국제회의에서 한국을 대표해 위 내용에 대한 국제적 동참을 제안한 것은 긍정적이지만, 연설내용의 절반은 공허했다"면서 "우리나라는 박정희 대통령 때부터 지난 60년 동안 기업에 엄청난 혜택을 주어왔고, 1998년 IMF, 2008년 금융위기 등 국가적 위기 때마다 국민과 국가가 나서서 기업을 지원했다. 코로나 팬데믹과 경제적인 위기로 민생이 나락으로 떨어지는 지금, 윤석열 정부는 기업에 대한 지원만 중요했지, 민생의 고통을 함께해야 하는 기업의 사회적 역할을 언급하지 않았다"고 강조했다.
