브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 윤석열 대통령 순방 전용기에 MBC 기자 탑승 배제 이후 논란이 커진 가운데 국민의힘 지도부에서 '광고 탄압' 발언까지 나왔다.
당 지도부이자 비상대책위원인 김상훈 의원은 17일 비대위 회의에서 MBC(문화방송)에 대한 대기업들의 광고 중단을 촉구했다.
김 의원은 이 자리에서 "MBC는 윤석열 대통령과 현 정부에 악의적인 보도와 의도적인 비난으로 뉴스를 채워왔다"면서 "그럼에도 불구하고 MBC의 각종 프로그램은 유력 대기업의 광고로 도배가 되고 막대한 수익을 올리고 있다"고 지적했다.
이어 그는 "많은 대기업이 MBC의 초대형 광고주로서 물주를 자임하고 있는 것"이라며 "MBC 광고 제품 불매 운동에 동참하고 있는 분들은 사회적 기업이자 국민의 기업인 삼성과 여러 기업들이 엠비시에 광고로 동력을 제공하는 것을 즉각 중단해야 하며 이는 선택이 아닌 의무라고 역설한다"고 주장했다.
이와 관련 정진석 비상대책위원장은 회의 직후 기자들과 만난 자리에서 ‘김상훈 의원의 발언이 당의 공식 입장인가’라는 질문에 "김 의원이 뭐라고 했는지 정확하게 못 들었다"며 즉답을 피했다.
또한 ‘언론인 출신으로서 MBC 광고 중단 주장은 타당하다고 생각하나’라는 이어진 질문에도 답을 하지 않고 자리를 떠났다.

Amid growing controversy after the exclusion of MBC reporters from boarding Yoon Suk Yeol's presidential plane, the leadership of the People's Power even made remarks on "suppression of advertisements."
Kim Sang-hoon, the party's leader and emergency committee member, urged large companies to stop advertising on MBC (Cultural Broadcasting) at a meeting of the emergency committee on the 17th.
