세종시, 내년부터 디지털 성범죄 피해자 심층상담

디지털 성범죄가 사회문제화 되면서 피해자가 날로 증가하고 있는 가운데, 세종시가 내년부터 디지털성범죄 피해자르 대상으로 전문상담가를 동원해 심층상담을 실시한다.

이를 위해 세종시는 내년부터 디지털 성범죄 대응과 피해자 지원 강화를 위해 ‘디지털 성범죄 피해자 특화상담소’를 신규 운영한다고 밝혔다.

세종시가 내년부터 운영에 돌입하는 디지털특화상담소는 지난달 여성가족부의 2023년 디지털 성범죄 지역 특화 프로그램 지원 공모사업에 지난 2일 선정됐고, 상담소는 국비를 지원받아 운영하게 된다.

특히 특화상담소는 디지털 환경에 대한 이해와 전문성이 있는 전문상담사를 배치해 디지털 성범죄 피해자에게 심층상담, 삭제지원, 수사기관·법원 동행, 의료·법률 연계 등 맞춤형서비스와 치유회복프로그램을 제공한다.

한편 세종시 디지털 성범죄 피해자 상담 건수는 2020년 111건, 2021년 156건, 2022년 83건(지난 9월 기준)으로 계속 증가하고 있어 특화상담소의 필요성이 제기되어 왔다.
