브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 검찰은 노웅래 더불어민주당 의원에 대해 한 사업가측으로부터 수천만원의 뇌물을 받은 혐의로 구속영장을 청구했다.
12일 법조계에 따르면 서울중앙지검 반부패수사2부(부장검사 김영철)는 이날 노웅래 의원을 뇌물수수·정치자금법위반·알선뇌물수수 혐의로 구속영장을 청구했다.
검찰은 노 의원이 지난 2020년 2월부터 12월까지 사업가 박모씨의 아내 조모씨를 통해 5회에 걸쳐 6000만원을 수수했으며 노 의원은 사업적으로 도움을 주거나 선거비용 명목 등으로 돈을 받은 것으로 보고 있다.
노 의원은 2020년 2월 박씨가 운영하는 발전소 납품 사업과 관련해 도움을 요청해오자 21대 국회의원 선거비용 명목으로 현금 2000만원을 받았다.
같은해 3월에는 박씨가 추진하는 용인 물류단지 개발사업 실수요검증 절차와 관련한 청탁을 받고선 1000만원을 받았다.
또한 같은해 11월에는 지방국세청장 보직인사와 관련한 청탁과 함께 현금 1000만원, 한국동서발전 임원 승진인사에 관한 청탁과 함께 현금 1000만원을 수수한 혐의 등도 있다.
검찰은 앞서 노웅래 의원의 국회 의원회관 사무실과 자택 등을 압수수색하는 한편 지난 6일에는 노 의원을 불러 소환조사를 벌였다.
