함안↔창원 광역버스정보시스템 구축 가시화

[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 함안군과 창원시를 이어주는 대중교통 편의를 위해 추진하던 ‘함안↔창원 광역버스정보시스템 구축 사업’이 가시화되고 있다.

광역BIS 구축 사업은 2022년 국토부 공모사업으로 선정돼 사업비 1억 2100만원을 투입해 함안과 창원을 운행하는 버스운행정보를 연계하는 사업이다.

이 사업은 함안-창원 간 광역환승할인제도 시행으로 탄력을 받아 지난 6월 용역사업을 시작으로 함안군 4개 노선, 창원시 5개 노선을 대상으로 시스템을 구축 중이다.

이달 중으로 구축을 완료해 시범운영을 거친 뒤 군민들에게 연계서비스를 제공할 예정이다.

광역BIS 연계서비스가 시행되면 함안에서 창원버스 위치정보를, 창원에서 함안버스 위치정보를 실시간으로 알 수 있어, 이용자들이 광역버스를 효율적으로 이용할 수 있다.
