고양시가 지난 27일 국회도서관에서 열린 제5회‘대한민국주거복지문화대상’ 대회에서 ‘생활복지119사업 고양뚝딱’이 우수상을 수상했다.
주거복지 분야의 모범을 선도하고 기여한 기관과 단체 등을 대상으로 우수사례와 제도, 추진실적 등을 평가해 수상을 하는 이 대회는 주거복지문화운동본부가 주최하고 행정안전부가 후원하는 행사다.

‘생활복지119사업 고양뚝딱’은 생활 속 작은 불편사항도 해결하기 어려운 취약계층을 대상으로 주거 불편사항을 해결해주는 서비스이다.
저소득층 자활사업 참여자가 생활복지119사업 전담반원으로 활동하기 때문에 수혜자가 다시 취약계층을 돕는 복지 선순환 체계를 이루는 효과가 있다.
전담반원은 찾아가는 출장 상담을 통해 주거 취약가구에게 조명 교체, 세면대 보수, 문풍지 부착 등을 진행하고 해충 방제 소독과 코로나19 예방을 위한 특별 방역도 함께 실시한다.

시는 가정 방문으로 복지사각지대 위기가구를 선제적으로 발굴할 수 있고 필요에 따라 맞춤형 복지 서비스를 연계해 제공하고 있다.
