최민호 세종시장이 조치원읍 등 세종시 북부권과 읍면 지역주민들이 신도심 발전에 느끼는 소외감과 박탈감을 잘 알고 있다며 예산 지원을 통해 읍면지역 주민들의 편의를 높이겠다고 약속했다.

‘시민에 의한 미래전략 수도 세종’을 실현하고자 마련된 시민과의 대화에서 시민들은 시정에 바라는 점을 질문으로 풀어냈고, 최 시장은 제안을 꼼꼼히 듣고 필기한 뒤 답변에 나섰다.
