행정안전부 한창섭 차관이 30일 전북 부안을 방문해 오는 8월 새만금 관광ㆍ레저 용지 1지구(8.8㎢)에서 개최될 지구촌 청소년 대축제인 '제25회 세계스카우트잼버리' 야영지를 방문해 추진상황을 점검했다.

 

이날 현장 방문에는 전북도 조봉업 행정부지사ㆍ권익현 부안군수ㆍ2023 새만금 세계스카우트잼버리 조직위ㆍ전북도의회 김정기(부안) 의원 등이 동행한 가운데 현장 시설 및 대회 전반적인 준비상황을 점검한 뒤 행안부 차원의 지원 등을 살펴보는 형식으로 이뤄졌다.

세계 최대 규모의 청소년 국제 행사인 '새만금 제25회 세계스카우트잼버리'는 오는 8월 1일부터 12일까지 전북 부안 새만금 잼버리 부지 일원에서 열릴 예정이다.
