[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 함안군이 올해 농림축산식품부, 농촌진흥청, 경상남도, 경남농업기술원, 군 자체 사업 등 원예유통분야 33개 사업, 35억 8000만 원 규모의 지원 대상자를 선정했다.
군은 20일 2023년 농어업·농촌 식품산업정책 심의회(소득개발 분과위원회)를 개최해 이 같이 결정하고 2024년 농림축산식품사업예산 신청 건은 6개 사업, 34억 2000만 원의 국비 예산 신청을 심의·의결했다.
이에 따라 원예유통분야 시책·시범사업 대상자 선정으로 첨단 ICT기술을 접목한 원예시설 현대화 시설·장비 지원, 아열대 작목 육성을 위한 신기술 보급 등 시설원예분야 발전기반을 조성한다.
또한 함안군 대표작목인 함안수박 육성 및 품질향상을 통한 소비트렌드 변화에 대응하는 함안수박의 지속적 발전기반을 조성할 계획이다.
아울러 신소득 아열대 과수산업 육성을 위한 현대화 시설장비 지원 및 과수재배 생력화와 신육성 품종 조기도입으로 과수 고품질 생산기반을 조성하고 산지 유통 통합조직 육성 등을 통한 농산물 유통활성화 기반조성 및 신선농산물 수출지원으로 ‘살기좋은 부자농업’을 실현할 토대를 마련한다.
