브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 뉴테크우드코리아는 지난 2월 새롭게 리뉴얼 오픈한 롯데호텔 부산 야외수영장에 자사의 합성목재 울트라쉴드 제품이 적용됐다고 16일 밝혔다.
울트라쉴드 제품은 나뭇결 질감과 색감 표현이 천연 목재와 동일한 수준이며 합성목재 특성 상 수분으로 인한 변형 및 변색이 적어 야외 수영장 등에 많이 적용되고 있다.
롯데호텔 부산 야외수영장에는 사이딩, 루버, 계단, 데크 등 다양한 공간에 사용됐다. 캐슬형 사이딩은 돌출부 줄눈의 음영을 살려 세련되고 깔끔한 디자인을 선보였다. 천장 캐노피와 외벽 포인트 공간에 시공된 루버는 스트라이프로 떨어지는 그림자 패턴을 통해 입체적이고 다채로운 공간을 표현할 수 있었다.
업체 관계자는 "롯데 시그니엘 서울, 롯데호텔 부산에 이어 오는 4월에는 제주 롯데씨티호텔 야외수영장에 본사 제품이 연이어 적용될 예정"이라며 "앞으로도 프리미엄 디자인과 품질로 고객 만족에 더욱 박차를 가할 것"이라고 말했다.
한편, 뉴테크우드코리아의 울트라쉴드는 2세대 합성목재로 환경부의 규제 표준 친환경 인증서와 국제 표준 Leed 인증서를 획득했다.
