브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 대표적 비명(비이재명)계인 조응천 더불어민주당 의원은 28일 이재명 대표의 자진사퇴가 없다면 "방탄 이미지 고착화에 기여한 임명직·지명직 전원이 물러났어야 한다"고 밝혔다.
조응천 의원은 이날 YTN 라디오 '뉴스킹 박지훈입니다'에서 전날 있었던 당직 개편 단행과 관련, "근본적 해법은 이재명 대표가 스스로 물러나는 것이지만 압도적 지지로 당선된 대표를 끄집어 내리는 것도 안 된다. 그래서 차선책으로 이를 내세웠던 것"이라며 이같이 말했다.
조 의원은 "새로 교체된 당직자들이 그동안 덧씌워진 방탄 이미지를 벗겨내고, (이재명 대표의) 사법 리스크와 당을 분리시키고 특정인 누가 아닌 이미지 쇄신을 해야 한단 것"이라고 지적했다.
이어 그는 조정식 사무총장이 유임된 것을 언급하며 "조 사무총장은 기자간담회까지 열어 검찰 수사를 비난하고 이 대표를 두둔했다. 방탄에 앞장선 것"이라며 "방탄 프레임 공고화에 기여해왔기 때문에 교체하라고 한 것이지 지금 공천이 무슨 문제인가. 사법 리스크 때문에 당에 구멍이 났으니 메꿔야 한다는 것"이라고 강조했다.
또한 비명계 중 송갑석 의원만 지명직 최고위원으로 임명된 데 대해서도 "최고위원 중 한 분만 딱 박혔다. 고립무원 처지인 송 의원이 아무것도 못하고 고립되지 않을까 걱정이 많다"고도 했다.
또한 대표적 비명계인 이상민 의원도 지난 27일 YTN라디오 '뉴스 정면승부'에서 "민주당이 지금 당면하고 있는 위기는 이 대표의 사법 리스크 때문이고 그를 위해서는 이 대표의 거취가 정리될 필요가 있다"며 "이 대표가 당 대표직을 유지하면서 다른 당직을 바꿨다는 게 과연 얼마나 의미가 있을까 싶다"고 당직 개편에 대해 쓴소리를 냈다.
이상민 의원은 그러면서 "민주당에 이재명 대표의 방탄정당이라는 부정적인 이미지를 키우는데 사무총장의 역할이 매우 컸었는데, 그런 것에 대해서 전혀 고려치 않고 그대로 유임했다는 것은 이재명 대표 본인은 물론 당의 전체의 기조도 변동이 없다고 판단된다"고 덧붙였다.
