[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시와 국토안전관리원은 3일 금곡중 부지에 건립 예정인 ‘국토안전실증센터’에 대해 지역주민과 관계자들을 대상으로 주민설명회를 개최했다.
이날 주민설명회는 금곡면사무소 2층에서 금곡중학교 부지에 구축 예정인 국토안전실증센터에 대한 소개와 함께 시설 배치계획 및 주민 피해 방지계획 등에 대한 설명으로 진행됐다.
국토안전실증센터는 기업지원 및 사무공간과 실내·외 실험장 등이 갖추어질 예정이며, 로봇.드론 등을 활용한 건축물 및 시설물에 대한 첨단 안전 기술 성능을 시험.검증힌다.
진주시 관계자는 “앞으로 금곡중 부지에 지어질 국토안전실증센터에 대하여 궁금증이 해소하기 위해 마련됐다”며“사업이 성공적으로 추진될 수 있도록 주민과 관계자분의 많은 관심과 의견을 부탁드린다”고 말했다.
