[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 3일 창원컨벤션센터에서 도지사를 비롯한 수출관계자 200여 명이 참석한 가운데 열린 제27회 경상남도 농수산물 수출탑 시상식에서 농수산물 수출시책 평가 부문 기관 장려상을 수상했다.
수출시책 평가는 경남도가 18개 시·군을 대상 수출실적, 수출신장률, 농식품가공 수출전문업체 육성, 수출농단육성, 해외시장 개척 활동 등 9개 분야 2022년도 실적을 평가한 결과이다.
또한, 군의 기관 수상과 함께 남거창농협(조합장 허원길)은 밤 50만 달러 수출탑 수상의 영예를 안았고, 농업기술과 배수경 주무관이 수출유공자 도지사 표창을 수상했다.
군은 지난해 농식품 수출 활성화를 위해 해외인증 취득 지원, 신선농산물 물류비 및 포장재비 지원, 농식품 가공 수출전문업체 육성지원, 해외 신시장 개척을 위한 미국과 몽골지역 마케팅 행사 등 다양한 시책을 추진해 왔다.
이와 같은 노력이 바탕이 되어 2021년 대비 8% 증가한 2022년도 농식품 수출실적 8180만 달러를 기록하는 성과를 거뒀다.
시상식에 참석한 이종하 부군수는 “지난해 어려운 수출 여건 속에서도 수출농가들과 수출기업들의 노력으로 우수시군으로 선정될 수 있었다”며 “앞으로도 우수한 거창 농산물 수출 확대와 판로 확보를 위해 해외시장 개척에 행정력을 집중하겠다”고 밝혔다.
