[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군 햇참푸드에서 생산되는 참기름·들기름이 품질과 맛 인정받아 미국에서 인기를 끌고있다.
거창군은 5일 거창읍 가지리 소재 햇참푸드에서 박승진 농업기술센터 소장과 김규범 햇참푸드 대표 및 수출 관계자 등이 참석한 가운데 햇참푸드 올해 첫 미국 수출 기념식을 가졌다.
이번에 미국으로 수출되는 물량은 햇참푸드의 대표 제품 ‘꼬시꼬시참기름’, ‘꼬시꼬시들기름’ 5000달러 상당으로 ㈜경남무역을 통해 수출돼 시카고와 볼티모어 지역에서 판매될 예정이다.
2021년 설립한 햇참푸드는 귀농청년이 우리 농산물을 생산 가공해 부가가치를 창출하고자 설립한 식품제조가공업체로 주요 생산 품목은 참기름, 들기름, 미숫가루 등이다.
전통방식에 저온 로스팅을 결합한 압착 기술과 다중 여과 등의 노하우로 깨끗하고 건강한 식재료를 만드는 햇참푸드는 설립 2년 만인 작년 첫 미국 수출을 시작으로 세 번째 수출을 진행해 현지에서의 큰 인기를 확인했다.
김규범 대표는 “엄격한 품질관리를 통한 프리미엄 제품 생산은 기본이며 참깨, 들깨를 활용한 특산품 개발로 지역 농가들과 함께 성장하며 우리 농산물의 우수성을 세계에 널리 알리는 업체가 되고 싶다”고 전했다.
박승진 농업기술센터 소장은 “거창 참기름과 들기름이 미국에서 인기를 얻게 돼 기쁘다”며 “거창 농식품의 안정적인 판로를 마련할 수 있도록 수출기반 강화 지원과 수출시장 개척을 위해 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
한편 햇참푸드는 지역농가와의 상생을 위해 지역 어르신들로부터 참깨, 들깨를 직접 수매해 가공하며 기술과 품질을 인정받아 관내 학교급식센터, 로컬푸드, 하나로마트 등에 납품을 하고 있고 주문자상표부착생산 등을 통해 판로를 넓히고 있다.
