[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 청소년 자치, 교육, 문화 간 통합 내실화를 통해 지역 상생을 도모하는 ‘2023 경남도 시·군 교육협력사업’ 운영 대상지로 웅양면이 선정됐다고 11일 밝혔다.
‘시군 교육협력사업’은 지자체·교육지원청 간 유기적 협업을 바탕으로 도-도교육청-지자체 간 대응투자를 통해 추진될 예정으로 건물을 새 단장하고 시설 환경을 구축할 수 있는 공간구축비, 인건비, 사업 운영비와 프로그램 운영비 등 1억 5000만원의 사업비를 투입할 계획이다.
이번 사업 대상지로 선정된 웅양면 복지회관은 웅양초·중, 웅양면행정복지센터와 근거리에 위치해 청소년과 지역민이 자주 찾을 수 있는 장점이 있으며 이를 통해 앞으로 청소년 활동 공간, 지역민 마을 놀터를 한 공간에 조성해 자치·교육·문화 간 통합 내실화를 단계별로 구축해 나갈 예정이다.
또한, 같은 건물에 위치하고 있는 웅양곰볕지역아동센터와 장미경로당 시설 개선을 통해 청소년 등 다양한 공간 활용 주체들의 만족도 향상을 도모할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
