충남도가 ‘수소상용차 부품 성능 검증 기반구축’ 사업이 산업통상자원부의 ‘2023 자동차산업기술개발’ 공모에 최종 선정되면서 수소승용·상용차 통합 시험평가 기반구축에 나선다.
충남도에 따르면 이번에 선정된 사업은 글로벌 주요국의 환경규제 강화 및 탄소중립 등으로, 급격한 성장이 전망되는 수소상용차의 부품 성능 검증 기반구축 및 시험평가 지원 등으로 전국에서 처음으로 기반구축이 되는 만큼 충남도내 자동차 부품업체의 미래차 전환 지원에도 속도가 붙을 전망이다.
총사업비 90억 원(국비 50억,도비 40억)이 투입돼 예산군 충남테크노파크 자동차센터 내에 구축하는 기반구축 사업은 충남도와 예산군, 전담기관인 한국산업기술진흥원(KIAT), 주관기관인 충남테크노파크 간 협약체결 후 다음 달부터 2026년 12월까지 4년간 추진한다.
세부 사업 내용은 △수소상용차 스택 전력변환장치 등 장비 5종 구축 △수소상용차 부품 시험 평가법 개발 △수소상용차 부품 시험평가 지원 등이다.
충남도는 사업이 본격화되면 탄소중립과 연계한 온실가스 저감은 물론 신규 시장 산업경쟁력 확보와 생산유발 160억 원, 부가가치유발 120억 원, 고용유발 64명 등의 경제적 파급효과가 발생할 것으로 기대하고 있다.
