브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 민생당은 19일 4·19 혁명 63주년을 맞아 "4·19의 뜨거운 열망과 민주주의 정신을 계승하겠다"고 밝혔다.
양건모 수석대변인은 이날 논평을 통해 "대한민국 민주주의는 온전히 국민의 추동으로 이 자리까지 왔다. 국민을 이기는 정치와 정권은 없듯이 63년 전 4·19 혁명이 없이는 대한민국의 민주주의는 없었다"며 이같이 말했다.
양 수석대변인은 "민생당은 제3지대 중심 정당으로서 거대양당의 폭주를 막아내고 건설적인 대안을 제시하며 주권자인 국민 곁에 늘 있겠다"면서 "4·19의 뜨거운 열망과 민주주의 정신을 계승하며 영령들 앞에 부끄럽지 않은 민생당이 되겠다"고 약속했다.
