[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 2일 시청 기업인의 방에서 혁신창업 허브 구축을 위한 진주 창업지원기관 업무협약을 체결했다.
진주시와 경상국립대학교, 중소벤처기업진흥공단, 한국산업기술시험원, 한국세라믹기술원, 경남테크노파크, 경남창조경제혁신센터 등 7개 기관은 이날 업무협약을 통해 ‘진주 창업지원기관 협의회’를 구성하고 향후 창업 네크워크 지원체계 구축을 통한 기술창업 촉진, 창업생태계 활성화를 위한 활동을 추진할 계획이다.
‘진주 창업지원기관 협의회’는 진주시, 중소벤처기업진흥공단, 경상국립대가 주축이 되어 창업기능 집적화를 위한 창업인재 양성 교육, 창업 사업화, 스케일업 등의 사업을 운영하게 된다.
한국산업기술시험원은 기술 컨설팅과 항공우주 시험인증 지원을, 한국세라믹기술원은 세라믹기술 관련 기업 연계를 통한 특성화 사업을 발굴하는 데 뜻을 모았다.
경남테크노파크는 항공우주 특화사업 및 창조경제혁신센터의 전주기 창업지원 사업 연계를 통한 체계적인 교육을 지원할 계획이다.
진주시는 ‘진주 창업지원기관 협의회’를 통해 메이커스페이스 등 신규 창업인프라 유치를 위한 정책 발굴에 나선다.
또한 분야별 특성화 지원체계 도입으로 기관 간 소싱·연계 지원, R＆D, 기술·제품 검증, 정례 실무 협의회 개최, 공동행사 개최, 기관별 창업정책 안내 책자 발간 및 진주형 창업사업 공동개발 등 전폭적인 창업 종합지원 정책을 펼칠 방침이다.
조규일 시장은 “진주형 혁신창업 허브 구축을 통한 지속적인 협업으로 지역 내 창업 분위기 확산은 물론, 지역경제 활성화에 기여할 것으로 기대된다”고 말했다.
