영덕군, 연근해 불법어업 집중단속 실시

군에 따르면 이번 합동단속에는 영덕누리호를 비롯한 국가어업지도선을 투입하여 ▲무허가·무면허 어업 ▲조업구역 위반 ▲불법어구 사용 ▲어린 물고기 불법포획 등을 단속한다.

특히 동해안은 살오징어 금어기 위반, 어린 물고기 및 암컷대게 포획행위 등을 집중 단속할 계획이다.

또 영덕군과 어업관리단 어업감독 공무원이 교차로 어업지도선에 승선해 해상에서의 불법어업을 단속하고, 육상 합동단속 전담반도 편성하여 주요 항·포구에 불법 어획물의 포획, 유통 행위 등을 점검한다.

이번 단속에서 적발된 위반사항에 대해서는 수산 관계법령에 따라 엄격한 조치를 취하고, 어업허가 정지 등의 행정처분도 부과할 계획이다.

영덕군 정상호 해양수산과장은 "수산자원 보호를 위해 지속적인 불법어업 지도 단속을 실시하여 어업질서가 확립되도록 노력할 것“이라며 ”어업인들도 이를 위해 관련 법령을 준수해 어업활동을 해주시길 바란다"고 말했다.
