[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 경남도에서 주관하는 ‘2023년 작은도서관 독서문화프로그램 운영지원’ 공모사업에 관내 작은도서관 8개관이 선정됐다고 19일 밝혔다.
‘작은도서관 독서문화프로그램 운영지원’ 사업은 도내 작은도서관 활성화 및 도민 문화 향유 기회 확대 등을 목적으로 운영되는 사업으로 이번 공모에서는 도내에서 총 14개 작은도서관이 선정됐고 이중 거창군은 8개관으로 최다 선정됐다.
선정된 작은도서관은 위천작은도서관, 글벗나래도서관, 가조면작은도서관 공립 작은도서관 3개관과 숲속작은도서관, 참살이작은도서관, 큰바위작은도서관, 밝은미래작은도서관, 소만작은도서관 사립 작은도서관 5개관이 선정됐다.
거창군은 공모 선정된 작은도서관을 대상으로 독서문화프로그램 운영을 위한 강사료, 재료비 등을 지원할 계획이며 하반기에는 특색 있고 다채로운 독서문화프로그램을 군민들에게 선보일 예정이다.
구인모 군수는 “작은도서관 독서문화프로그램 운영으로 지역 내 작은도서관 이용을 활성화해 교육문화공간으로서의 역할을 수행하는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다.
한편 거창군은 관내 작은도서관 운영 활성화를 위해 도서구입비 지원, 순회사서 지원, 자원봉사자 운영, 프로그램 지원 등 다양한 사업을 추진하고 있다.
