이북5도위원회 경기도사무소는 5월25일자 보도자료에서 “지난 5월 24일 오후 이북5도위원회 경기도사무소는 행정안전부 이북5도위원회에서 추진하고 있는 북한이탈주민의 안정적인 정착지원사업이 지속화 될 수 있도록 하는 방안으로 2021년 ~ 2022년 가족결연을 맺은 북한이탈주민과 이북도민을 대상으로 22명을 선정하여 경기도 수원시 광교 인근 호수 걷기행사를 진행했다. 결연자들은 약 1시간 정도 서로에 대한 이야기를 나누며 산책을 했다”고 전했다.
