영덕군, 주민참여예산 공모 실시

【브레이크뉴스 영덕】박희경 기자=영덕군은 7월 28일까지 올해 주민참여예산 제안사업의 공모를 실시한다고 12일 밝혔다.

참가자격은 영덕 군민이라면 누구나 참여할 수 있으며 우편, 방문 접수 모두 가능하며, 궁금한 사항은 기획예산실 예산팀으로 문의하면 된다.

접수된 제안사업은 관련 부서의 검토와 주민참여예산위원회 심의를 통해 예산안에 반영되고, 군의회의 의결을 거쳐 내년도 본예산에 최종 편성된다.

한편 영덕군은 지난 9일 군청 3층 대회의실에서 ‘2023년 주민참여예산위원회 상반기 총회’를 개최했다.

이날 총회에는 함께하는 시민행동 채연하 사무처장이 주민참여예산 위원들의 역량강화를 위해 타지역 주민참여예산의 우수사례를 소개하고 제안서를 직접 작성해 보는 실습형 교육을 진행해 큰 호응을 얻었다.

이후 위원회는 올해 제안사업 심의와 선정 일정을 확정하는 등 주민참여예산제 운영계획 등에 대해 논의했다.

최일준 영덕군 주민참여예산위원장은 “위원회가 예산편성 과정에서 주민들의 다양한 입장과 요구를 수렴하는 하나의 창구로써 원활히 기능하며 군민과 행정의 가교역할에 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다.

Yeongdeok-gun, resident participatory budget contest held

Yeongdeok-gun announced on the 12th that it would hold a call for proposals for participatory budgeting this year until July 28th.

At the general assembly, Chae Yeon-ha, secretary general of Citizens Action Together, introduced best practices of participatory budgeting in other regions to strengthen the capacity of the members of the participatory budgeting committee, and conducted hands-on training to write proposals, which received a great response.

Afterwards, the committee discussed plans for the operation of the participatory budgeting system, such as deliberation of this year's proposed projects and finalizing the selection schedule.

Choi Il-joon, chairman of the Participatory Budgeting Committee of Yeongdeok-gun, said, "The committee will do its best to serve as a bridge between the county and the administration by functioning smoothly as a window to collect various opinions and demands of residents in the budget planning process."
