이날 제1차 정례회 본의회에서 5분 자유발언으로 우애자 의원은 등교 시 학원차량을 이용하지 못해 어려움을 겪고 있는 학생과 학부모를 위해 “영천시 학교 통학버스 운영 및 지원”에 대해 제안했고, 박주학 의원은 습지의 가치와 중요성을 강조하며 “인공습지의 효율적인 관리 및 생태공원 창출”에 대해 제안했다.
이번 정례회에서는 △2022회계연도 결산 및 예비비지출 승인안 △조례안 및 기타안건에 대한 심사가 이루어진다.
먼저 2022회계연도 결산 및 예비비지출 승인안 심사를 위해 제1차 본회의에서 예산결산특별위원회 위원장과 부위원장을 선임하고, 15일 상임위원회에서 예비심사와 16일 예산결산특별위원회에서 최종 심사 뒤 19일 제2차 본회의에서 최종 의결하게 된다.
또한, 13일과 14일 양일간 영천시로부터 제출된 조례안 및 기타안건 12건과 의원발의 조례안 3건을 상임위원회별로 심사·처리하고, 19일 제2차 본회의에서 상임위원회별로 심사 보고된 안건 등에 대해 최종 의결 후 이번 정례회를 마무리할 계획이다.
하기태 영천시의회의장은 “2022회계연도 결산심사에 있어서 소중한 예산이 당초 목적에 맞게 적절히 집행되었는지 시민의 입장에서 살피고, 앞으로 더욱 건전한 재정운용을 위한 대안을 제시하는 데에 집중해달라.”고 당부했다.
