【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=월성원자력본부(본부장 김한성)는 22일 경주시 문무대왕면을 대표하는 하천인대종천에 은어 치어 방류행사를 지원했다고 밝혔다.

이날 행사는 문무대왕면발전협의회(회장 김상희)에서 주관하고 월성원자력본부가후원하여 시행됐다.
최근 월성본부 인근의 대종천이 노지캠핑 및 차박캠핑의 성지로 떠오르고 있는 가운데, 대종천의 상징인 은어 치어 10만미를 방류함으로 대종천의 가치를 더욱 올리는 뜻깊은 자리가 되었다.
이날 행사에서는 고남우 문무대왕면장, 최기용 원자력환경공단본부장, 경주시환경보호협의회원 등 내빈 80여명이 참석하여 은어 치어를 대종천에 직접 방류하였다.
김한성 월성원자력본부장은 “3년째 이어져오고 있는 은어 치어 방류행사를 더욱활성화 시킬 수 있도록 진심을 담아 지원을 계속하곘다”며 “이와 같은 행사를 적극지원함으로 주변지역과 함께 가야 한다”고 지역상생의 측면 또한 강조했다.
고남우 문무대왕면장은 “대종천이 관광객 뿐만 아니라 면민들도 함께 즐길 수 있는 공간이 되어야 한다”며 “대종천이 경주시의 유명 관광지가 될 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다. 김상희 문무대왕면발전협의회장은 “월성원자력본부의 적극 후원으로 인해 대종천 은어 치어 방류행사가 성공적으로 이루어지고 있다”며“앞으로도 계속 이 뜻깊은 행사를 잘 이어 나가도록 노력하겠다”고 소감을 전했다.
