【브레이크뉴스 영덕】박희경 기자=영덕군은 민선 8기 1주년을 맞아 실시한 행정수요조사에서 100명 중 75명의 군민이 군정 업무수행에 대해 ‘잘한다’고 평가한 것으로 나타났다고 29일 밝혔다.

영덕군이 밝힌 조사에 따르면, 군정 업무수행에 대해 74.7%의 군민이 긍정적인 평가를, 25.3%가 부정 평가를 했으며, 군정 업무 기대치는 84%가 긍정, 16%가 부정 평가로 조사됐다.
특히, 군정 업무에 대해 기대하고 있다는 응답이 잘하고 있다는 현재의 평가보다 9.3% 더 높게 나타난 것은 영덕군 행정수요에 대한 군민의 기대감이 높게 투영된 것이라고 조사기관은 평가했다.
생활환경 만족도 평가에선 11개 분야 중 주거·환경 67.6점, 복지 66.8점, 생활 편의성과 치안 66.2점 등이 높게, 문화·여가 62점, 교육·환경 61.7점, 경제 60.1점 등이 상대적으로 낮게 평가됐지만 전 분야에 걸쳐 긍정 평가가 상향 평준화돼 종합만족도는 65.8점으로 기록됐다.
또한, 생활환경 만족도 평가에서 행정서비스의 수요자인 군민의 체감만족도가 67.3점으로 공급자 요소만족도 64.2점보다 3.1점 높았다.
이밖에 지역경제를 위해 29.6%가 문화·관광 분야 활성화를, 22.6%는 실업대책 및 일자리 창출에 투자해야 한다는 의견을 줬으며, 다음으로 첨단산업단지 조성 18.6%, 전통시장 활성화 17.1%, 중소기업 지원 확대가 12.1%로 조사됐다.
영덕군은 민선 8기의 긍정 평가가 높게 나타난 밑바탕에는 생활민원기동처리반 운영, 효도수당 지급, 보건지소 건강활력센터 설치 등 군민이 체감하는 시책과 찾아가는 소통의 날 운영, 열린 군수실 운영, 읍·면 행복소통실 운영, 군청 행복민원실 개선 등 현장성을 살린 소통행정이 군민에게 좋게 평가된 결과로 파악됐다.
김명중 영덕군 기획예살실장은 “군민이 높은 군정 만족도를 보여준 것은 군민통합과 지역발전을 최우선 가치로 두고 행정을 펼친 민선 8기의 노력에 공감해 주신 결과”라며, “성장동력 확보와 경제 활성화를 위해 군민의 의견에 항상 귀 기울여 군민과 소통하는 책임행정을 실천해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편 이번 조사는 여론조사 등록기관인 ㈜에이스리서치에서 영덕군 거주 18세 이상 남녀 1015명을 대상으로 1:1대면면접조사 방식으로 진행됐다. 표본오차는 95%, 신뢰수준는 ±3.0%p이며, 표본 추출은 지역.성.연령별 인구비율에 따라 유의할당했다.
