【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=경주시는 카페를 이용하는 비용이 부담스러운 경주시 청년들에게 모바일 포인트 7만원을 지원해주는 ‘꿈이음 청춘카페 지원사업’을 본격 추진한다고 29일 밝혔다.

경북도가 주최하고 경주시 청년센터가 주관하는 ‘꿈이음 청춘카페 지원사업’은 ‘꿈이음 청춘카페’로 선정된 지역 카페 5곳에서 쓸 수 있도록 지원하는 사업이다.
앞서 경주시는 경주다방(황오동), SL PARK COFFEE(석장동), 카페 온다(충효동), 테를지카페(황남동), 라이쿠뎃(황성동) 등 ‘꿈이음 청춘카페’ 5곳을 선정했다.
현재 경주시는 모바일 포인트를 받을 ‘꿈이음 청춘카페 지원사업’ 참여자를 모집 중이며, 모집 대상은 경주시에 거주하는 만 19세~39세 청년 514명이다.
단 현재 취업 중인 자(4대 보험 가입 기준)와 정부·지자체 청년지원사업 참여 중인 청년은 참여가 불가능하다.
참여자는 선착순으로 현재 모집 중이며, 사업에 참여하고자 하는 청년들은 구글폼으로 신청(https://forms.gle/HTdRwtLha6XVWxZCA)이 가능하다.
청년 유동 인구가 많고 접근성이 좋은 대학가 및 교통거점에 위치한 카페 권역별 5곳을 선정해 청년들에게 활동 공간을 제공함은 물론, 취·창업 및 커뮤니티 활동을 장려하기 위한 목적이다.
선정된 청년들은 카페 이용료를 지원받아 꿈이음 청춘 카페에서 매월 진행하는 다양한 프로그램에 참여할 수 있고, 지역 기업의 취업 정보를 제공받을 수 있다.

경주시 청년센터 이성환 센터장은 “경주시 청년들이 꿈이음 청춘카페를 거점으로 다양한 활동을 펼쳐나갈 수 있었으면 좋겠으며 이를 통해 지역 청년들도 혜택을 받고, 지역 카페의 이용에 따라 지역 경제 활성화에도 도움이 될 수 있는 사업이 될 수 있기를 바란다”고 말했다.

The purpose is to encourage employment, entrepreneurship and community activities as well as providing activity spaces to young people by selecting 5 cafes in each region with a large floating population of young people and located in college districts and transportation hubs with good accessibility.
Selected young people receive support for cafe usage fees, can participate in various programs held monthly at Dream Ieum Youth Cafe, and can receive employment information from local companies.

Lee Seong-hwan, head of the Gyeongju Youth Center, said, “I hope that the young people of Gyeongju City will be able to carry out various activities based on Dream Immune Youth Cafe. I hope it can become a viable business,” he said.
