【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=경주시의 명계3일반산단, 검단일반산단 두 곳의 일반산업단지 대상 기반시설 지원 사업이 성공적으로 마무리됐다.

이번 사업은 지역 산단 진입도로 개설과 공업용수도 조성 사업으로 지역 산단의 경쟁력을 향상시키는 동시에 우수한 기업 유치와 일자리 창출을 위해 마련됐다.
먼저 명계3일반산업단지의 경우 내남면 명계교차로에서 이어지는 총 연장 1.26km 규모의 진입도로가 조성됐다.
이 가운데 총 연장 83m 도로 폭 16m 규모의 교량도 함께 조성됐다. 사업비 105억 4800만원이 투입됐으며, 이 중 국비는 101억 480만원으로 재원 대부분이 국비로 충당했다.
앞서 시는 원활한 사업 진행을 위해 2019년 1월 실시설계 용역에 착수했고, 2020년 12월 1차분 공사 착공, 2021년 3월 2차분 공사 착공을 거쳐 지난달 모든 공사가 완료됐다.
이어 검단 일반산업단지 공업용수도 사업은 천북면 오야리에서 검단일반산단까지의 송수관로(직경 200㎜)를 포함한 총 6km의 배수시설과 1400톤의 배수지 및 가압장 1개소를 조성하는 사업이다.
총 사업비 45억원이 투입됐으며, 재원은 전액 도비로 충당했다. 지난 2018년 2월 실시설계용역이 완료됐고, 2019년 7월 공사 착공에 들어가, 2021년 9월 광역상수도 사용 승인을 받았다.
또 2021년 12월에는 하천점용허가 변경 승인을 받아 지난달 모든 공사가 완료됐다.
주낙영 경주시장은 “이번 산단 지원 사업 마무리로 경주는 산업 허브로 발돋움할 수 있는 기틀을 갖췄다”며 “지역 산단 활성화를 통해 지역 경제를 도약시킬 구원투수 역할을 하게 될 것”이라고 말했다.
