7일 황주호 한수원 사장은 울산 울주군 새울원자력본부에서여름철 전력 수급 대비 현장경영을 시행했다.
황 사장은 태풍 등 자연재해에 대비한 새울1,2호기의 준비현황을 점검하고, “원자력발전소는 국가 전력공급의 근간으로 안전운전에 만전을 기해 여름철 전력 수급에 기여할 것”을 당부했다.
특히 계획예방정비 막바지 단계에 있는 새울1호기를 안전하게 재가동해 전력 수급에 역할을 할 수 있도록 노력할 것을 주문하고 건설중인 새울3,4호기 현장에서 여름철 폭염대비 산업안전 관리실태와 집중호우 등에 대비한 안전조치 이행현황을 확인하며 안전한 건설현장 조성을 강조했다.
황 사장은 여름철 전력수급대책기간 동안 모든 원전본부의 최일선 현장에서 전력 수급 대비현황을 직접 점검할 계획이다.
한수원은 원전본부 임원할당제를 시행, 경영진이 직접 각 본부 현장에서 원전의 주요설비와 자연재해 대비현황을 점검하고 있다.
