창작소는 그간 다양한 지원사업, 교육, 행사 등을 운영하며 지역 뮤지션을 양성하고 경북 내 대중음악 산업 발전을 위해 힘써왔다. 이번 지원도 그 노력 중 하나로, ‘2023 경북 페스티벌/공연 지원사업’ 선정팀의 페스티벌과 공연을 지원함으로써 도내 대중음악 프로젝트 활성화를 유도할 계획이다.
가장 먼저 진행되는 프로젝트는‘뉴웨이브 포항’의 ‘2023 New Wave Pohang Sound Festa’로오는 14일부터 이틀 동안 포항 카페빈땅서프에서 개최된다. 여름 저녁, 하늘과 맞닿은 바다와 함께 김사월, 추다혜차지스, DJ MiMi, 까데호, 지소쿠리클럽의 음악을 즐길 수 있도록 기획된 본 공연은 ‘뉴웨이브 포항’ 인스타그램에서 상세내용을 확인할 수 있다.
