브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 오세훈 서울시장은 13일 수도권 집중호우 예보와 관련, 직원들에게 철저한 수해 대비를 당부했다.
오세훈 시장은 이날 오전 서울시청 재난안정상황실에서 임창수 물순환안전국장으로부터 현재 강수 상황과 전망, 하천통제, 동행파트너를 비롯한 대처 상황 등을 보고 받은 뒤 이같이 밝혔다.
오 시장은 "오늘 밤이 이번 우기의 정점이 될 것 같다"며 "최근 타지역 하천 변 산책로에서 인명사고가 났는데 서울시는 둘레길, 산책길이 많은 만큼 폭우가 갑자기 쏟아질 때 대피를 급하게 할 수 없는 사정이 발생할 수 있는 지형들은 통행 제한이나 경고 방송을 해서 불행한 일이 생기지 않도록 미리 신경 써달라"고 주문했다.
이어 "지난해 경험에 비춰보면 반지하, 지하차도 등 지하 공간이 제일 취약하다"면서 "예찰 활동을 강화해서 급작스럽게 무너져 내리면서 생길 수 있는 인명피해가 예방될 수 있게 해달라"고 거듭 당부했다.
한편, 이날부터 수도권에 최대 250㎜ 이상의 폭우가 예상되는만큼 서울시 직원들은 지난 11일부터 비상근무에 돌입했다.
