브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 손학규 전 민주당 대표의 대선 지지를 목적으로 활용된 A 인터넷언론사의 주인 자리를 놓고 손 전 대표 측근간 법적 공방이 벌어지고 있다.
24일 NSP통신 보도에 따르면 손학규 전 대표의 싱크탱크인 동아시아미래재단(이하 동미재)의 이 모 사무총장과 동미재 회원인 맹 모 기자가 이 사건의 중심에 서 있다.
사건의 발단은 2015년 4월 경 손학규 전 대표가 강진 만덕산에 칩거하고 있었으나, 야권 대선후보로 부각됐던 시기로 거슬러 올라간다.
당시 동미재 이 사무총장은 손 전 대표를 지원할 목적으로 최소 몇 년 정도의 운영 이력이 있는 인터넷언론사를 찾고 있었고, 마침 동미재 회원인 맹 기자는 당시 휴업 상태의 언론사 법인을 소유하고 있었다.
맹 기자는 손 전 대표를 위해 활용한다고 하니 이를 기꺼이 수락하며 이 언론사 법인의 대표이사를 변경해줄 것을 약속했다.
맹 기자는 자신이 50% 그의 아내가 50% 총 100% 지분을 보유하고 있던 언론법인의 대표이사 사임서와 이사인 아내의 사임서 및 대표이사 변경 서류 등을 이 사무총장측에 전달했다고 한다.
또한 대표이사 변경 등기를 위해 필요하다해서 법인 인감도장과 개인 인감도장 등까지 맡겼다고 한다. 손 전 대표를 위해 사용한다고 하니 아무런 의심도 하지 않았고 되려 큰 영광이라고 생각했다.
하지만 이 사무총장측은 이 인감도장을 무단 사용해 법인양도, 양수 계약서(사업권 포함) 등의 서류까지 조작해 만들어냈고 자신에게서 이 언론 법인을 완전히 빼앗아 갔다는 게 맹 기자의 주장이다.
반면 이 사무총장측은 대표이사 변경과 법인양도 양수 계약서 등은 모두 맹 기자가 직접 확인한 후 인감도장을 찍었다면서 이 계약에는 아무런 문제가 없다고 일관되게 주장하고 있다.
한편 이 사건의 항소심 재판부는 오는 8월 24일 심리를 앞두고 있다.
