브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 라이프케어 전문 기업인 ㈜피앤씨랩스는 9일 함진수 대표이사가 여름철 에너지 절약 실천을 위한 ‘쿨코리아 챌린지’에 참여했다고 밝혔다.
‘쿨 코리아 챌린지’는 여름철 시원하고 간편한 옷차림으로 냉방 에너지를 절약하자는 취지로 한국에너지공단과 패션그룹 형지가 함께 진행하는 릴레이 캠페인이다.
얇은 옷을 입으면 여름철 2~3도의 체감 온도를 낮출 수 있기 때문에 에너지 절감과 함께 환경보호에 기여할 수 있는 공익 캠페인이다.
앞서 티젠의 김병희 대표 지명을 받은 함진수 대표는 냉감 소재를 이용한 티셔츠를 착용하고 챌린지에 참여했다. 함 대표는 “이번 챌린지를 통해 지구 온도를 낮출 수 있도록 피앤씨랩스도 적극적으로 동참하겠으며 사무동 뿐만 아니라 제조현장에서도 냉감‧친환경 소재의 유니폼 적용을 검토하고 있다”고 밝혔다.
함진수 대표는 다음 주자로는 온‧오프라인 블랜디드 에듀테크기업 ‘디쉐어’의 김원태 대표를 지명했다.
한편 2008년 설립된 피앤씨랩스는 국내 마스크팩, 클린징 패드 시트 시장의 60% 이상을 점유하고 있다.
