브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 중국 정부가 코로나19 이후 3년여 만에 자국민의 해외 단체여행을 전면 허용하기로 했다.
중국 문화여유부는 10일 '여행사 경영 재개 관련 중국 공민의 관련 국가 및 지역 방문(3차) 출국 단체여행 업무 안내' 공고문를 세계 각국의 여행 허용국가에 보냈다.
이 공고문에는 중국 내 온·오프라인 여행사가 중국인을 대상으로 여행 허용국가의 단체 여행상품과 '항공권+호텔' 패키지 상품의 판매를 허용했다는 내용이 담겨있다.
우리 외교부는 공고문 발표에 앞서 여행 허용국가 지정을 미리 통보받은 것으로 전해졌다.
중국 정부가 단체여행을 허용한 국가는 한국을 비롯해 총 78개국이다.
아시아에서는 한국과 일본을 비롯해 인도, 파키스탄 등 12개국이 새로 지정됐다. 유럽은 독일, 영국, 폴란드, 벨라루스 등 27개국, 북미는 미국과 멕시코 등 8개국, 남미는 페루, 콜롬비아 등 6개국이 포함됐다. 이어 오세아니아는 호주, 파푸아뉴기니 등 7개국이, 아프리카는 알제리, 에티오피아, 카메룬 등 18개국이 각각 추가됐다.
이로써 고고도미사일방어체계(THAAD·사드) 배치를 계기로 중단된 중국인의 한국 단체관광은 6년 5개월 만에 재개됐다.
이와 관련 안은주 외교부 부대변인은 10일 정례 브리핑을 통해 "한중 양국은 상호 간 인적 교류 활성화의 중요성에 대한 공감대 하에 관련 소통을 해왔다"며 단체관광 허용국가로 선정된데 대한 입장을 밝혔다.
아울러 한국인의 중국 여행비자 발급 절차도 보다 간소화된다. 주한 중국대사관은 지난 9일 공식 SNS계정을 통해 한국에서 중국행 비자를 발급할 때 지문을 채취하던 절차를 상무(M)·여행(L)·친척방문(Q)·경유(G)·승무(C) 비자에 한해 올해 12월 31일까지 중단하겠다고 발표했다.
