브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 현대자동차 정몽구 재단은 이달 7일부터 11일까지 4박 5일간 경기 양평 블룸비스타에서 초중등 교사 55명과 함께 창의예술교육 교사연수 ‘온드림 아츠클래스’를 진행했다고 밝혔다.
온드림 아츠클래스는 아직 이론적인 교육에 머물고 있는 국내의 대다수 일반 교과 수업에 연극, 음악, 드라마 등 예술분야의 기법과 도구를 접목시켜, 보다 재미 있고 교사 중심의 수업으로 학생들의 참여도가 높아지는 교수법을 전수하는 글로벌 교육 연수 프로그램이다.
2017년부터 시작된 본 사업은 2022년부터 영국 창의예술교육 소셜벤처 ‘ARTIS’와 국내 비영리 교육 소셜벤처 (사)점프와의 창의예술교육 한국형 모델 개발 및 미래 교육 리더가 될 선생님 양성을 목적으로 글로벌 파트너십을 맺어 진행되고 있다.
재단은 올해 55명의 초·중등 교사들을 선발했다. 선발된 교사들은 연수 참여 경험 여부에 따라 신규교사 프로그램과 알럼나이 교사 프로그램으로 나눠 영국 아티즈(ARTIS) 멘토와 함께하는 집중적인 합숙 연수를 진행했다.
