제11회 하찬석 국수배 영재바둑대회 개막

[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 합천군이 주최하고 (재)한국기원이 주관하는 제11회 하찬석 국수배 영재바둑대회가 지난 12일과 13일 양일간 서울 한국기원 바둑TV 스튜디오에서 열린 25인의 예선 무대를 시작으로 대장정의 막이 올랐다.

하찬석 국수배 영재바둑대회는 신진서 9단, 신민준 9단 등 세계적인 선수들의 뒤를 이을 신예 바둑기사들의 등용문으로 자리매김하고 있다.

17세 이하 프로기사들이 출전한 이번 대회는 4라운드에 걸친 예선 결과 박지현 4단과 원제훈 3단이 4전 전승으로 본선에 진출했다.

최은규·정우진·김승진·박동주 3단 등 예선을 통과한 6명의 기사가 시드배정을 통해 본선에 진출한 한우진 9단과 김은지 6단과 함께 우승경쟁을 이어간다.

본선은 8강 토너먼트로 진행되며 오는 18일 김은지 6단과 박동주 3단의 대결로 시작해, 결승전은 9월 16일 합천 대야문화제 행사와 병행해 합천 특설무대에서 단판으로 진행될 예정이다.

우승자와 준우승자는 각 1000만원과 500만원의 상금과 하찬석 국수배 영재바둑대회만의 특전인 ‘영재vs정상 기념대국’의 출전 자격을 얻어 신진서 9단을 비롯한 국내 정상 기사들과 기념 대국을 가진다.

한편 본선 모든 경기는 바둑TV와 유튜브를 통해 생중계된다.
