이날 이종하 부군수, 김일수 도의원, 김홍섭·표주숙·신재화·김향란 군의원, 안철우 거창문화원장, 김칠현 김면장군 후원회 회장, 웅양면민 등 200여 명이 참석한 가운데 열렸다.
우척현 전투는 임진왜란 초기 1592년 8월 16일 거창 북쪽 우두령에서 일어난 전투로 김면 장군과 정인홍, 곽준, 문위 등의 의병장들이 이끄는 2,000명의 의병부대가 일본군을 격파해 전라도 진출을 좌절시킨 조선군이 크게 승리한 전투다.

이날 헌관재배의 초헌관은 이종하 부군수, 아헌관은 신재화 군의원, 종헌관은 윤경남선생의 후손 윤용수 씨가 맡았다.
