브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 정부가 추석 연휴와 개천절 사이 징검다리 연휴인 10월 2일을 임시공휴일로 지정하는 방안을 검토 중이다.
만약 임시공휴일로 지정되면 추석 연휴가 시작되는 9월 28일부터 개천절까지 6일간 연휴가 이어진다.
25일 대통령실 등에 따르면 윤석열 대통령은 최근 10월 2일을 임시공휴일로 지정하는 방안을 보고 받은 뒤, 긍정적으로 검토하라는 지시를 내렸다.
국민의힘에서 연휴를 원하는 국민 여론이 높다는 점과 연휴 기간 소비 증가에 따른 경기 진작 효과가 있을 것이란 점을 강조하며 윤 대통령에게 건의한 것으로 전해졌다.
