동국대학교의료원, 경상북도 수해복구 성금 3,000만원 전달

【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=동국대학교의료원(의료원장 채석래)은 최근 집중호우로 피해를 본 경북지역 수해복구를 위해 3,000만원의 성금을 경상북도에 전달했다.

24일 열린 성금 전달식에는 이철우 경상북도지사를 비롯해 채석래 동국대학교의료원장, 정주호 동국대학교경주병원장 등이 자리를 함께 했다.

지난 7월 지속된 집중호우로 경상북도 북부 지역인 예천, 영주, 문경, 봉화 등에 피해가 집중되었으며, 여전히 수해 피해 복구작업이 진행 중에 있다.

전달된 성금은 수해 피해 이재민들을 위한 구호 물품 지원 및 현장 복구에 사용될 예정이다.

채석래 의료원장은 “집중호우로 인해 어려움을 겪는 피해지역 분들께 깊은 위로의 말씀을 전하며, 수해로 인한 아픔을 겪고 계신 이재민들의 건강과 조속한 일상으로의 회복에 작은 보탬이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

Due to the torrential rain that lasted last July, the damage was concentrated in Yecheon, Yeongju, Mungyeong, and Bonghwa in the northern part of Gyeongsangbuk-do, and flood damage restoration work is still in progress.

The donations delivered will be used for relief goods and site restoration for victims of flood damage.
