브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 전국철도노동조합(철도노조)이 14일 오전 9시부터 나흘간 파업에 돌입함에 따라, 한국철도공사(코레일)가 서울사옥에서 대국민 사과문을 발표했다.
한문희 코레일 사장은 “지난 여름 기상이변에 따른 열차 지연과 운행 차질로 불편을 겪은 국민께 다시한번 심려를 끼치게 돼 철도운영의 책임을 맡고 있는 사장으로서 머리 숙여 깊이 사과드린다”고 밝혔다.
한 사장은 “이번 파업은 수서행 KTX 운행과 고속철도 통합 등 교섭을 통해 해결할 수 없는 정부정책 사항을 핵심 목적으로 하고 있어 정당성이 없다”며 “파업 과정에서 발생하는 일체의 불법행위에 대해서 법과 원칙에 따라 엄정하게 대처할 것이다”고 강조했다.
이어 “목적과 절차상 요건을 갖추지 못한 지난 태업행위에 대해서도 법과 사규에 따라 책임을 묻고 있다”고 언급했다.

한편, 코레일은 파업기간 동안 수도권전철 운행률은 평시대비 75% 수준을 유지하되, 출근 시간대는 90% 이상 운행한다. KTX는 대체 인력을 우선적으로 투입해 평시대비 68% 운행한다.
파업 기간 열차 이용 안내는 모바일 앱 ‘코레일톡’과 역·열차 안내방송 등 다양한 매체를 통해 지속적으로 시행하고 있으며, 운행중지 열차 예매 고객에게는 개별 문자메시지를 발송해 안내했다.
