브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 원희룡 국토교통부 장관을 단장으로 한 '우크라이나 재건협력 대표단(원팀코리아)'이 우크라이나를 방문해 재건 공사에 한국 기업의 참여를 제안했다.
15일 국토부에 따르면 원팀코리아는 지난 13일부터 14일까지 이틀 간 우크라이나의 수도 키이우를 방문했다.
이번 대표단은▲정부(국토부, 해양수산부) ▲공공기업(LH, 수자원공사, 코레일, 한국공항공사, KIND, 한국환경산업기술원) ▲민간기업(삼성물산, 현대건설, HD현대건설기계, 현대로템, 네이버, 유신, 한화솔루션, 한화건설, KT, CJ대한통운, 포스코 인터내셔널) ▲협회(해외건설협회) 등 총 18곳으로 구성됐다.
원희룡 장관은 볼로디미르 젤렌스키 우크라이나 대통령을 예방한 자리에서 "지난 7월 양국 정상이 공동으로 발표한 '평화 연대 이니셔티브'에 따라 재건 지원 등을 조속히 추진하기 위해 한국 정부와 기업이 대표단을 꾸려 함께 방문한 것"이라며 "전쟁을 극복하고 경제성장을 이루어낸 우리 정부와 기업의 경험을 살려 우크라이나 재건에 적극 기여하겠다"고 밝혔다.
원 장관은 특히 젤렌스키 대통령에게 대표단으로 함께 온 우리 기업인들을 소개하며 전쟁으로 황폐해진 우크라 재건을 위해 다양한 분야에서 한국 기업들이 큰 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이라고 강조했다.
대표단은 또한 데니스 쉬미할(Denys Shmyhal) 총리, 올렉산드르 쿠브라코브(Oleksandr Kubrakov) 재건부총리 겸 인프라부 장관, 르만 할루시첸코(German Galushchenko) 에너지부 장관 등과 잇따라 만나 우크라이나 재건 지원방향 및 우리 기업의 사업 참여의지를 설명했다.
양국이 협력해 중점 추진할 6대 프로젝트를 공동 발표하기도 했다. 양국이 정한 6대 선도 프로젝트는 ▲키이우 교통 마스터플랜 ▲우만 시 스마트시티 마스터플랜 ▲보리스필 공항 현대화 ▲부차 시 하수처리시설 ▲카호우카 댐 재건지원 ▲철도노선 고속화(키이우~폴란드 등)다.

양국은 아울러 원 장관과 젤렌스키 대통령의 임석 하에 우크라이나 대외경제협력기금(EDCF) 지원을 위한 첫 단계인 공여협정(A/G)도 정식으로 체결했다.
EDCF는 개도국의 경제·산업발전을 지원하기 위해 우리 정부가 개도국 정부에 장기·저리로 빌려주는 자금으로, 우리 정부는 향후 EDCF를 통해 우크라이나에 20억달러 이상의 중장기적 지원을 추진하겠다고 언급한 바 있다.
원희룡 장관은 "그간 우리 기업들은 우크라이나 재건사업 참여에 관심이 많으나, 현지에서 활동할 기회가 없었다"면서 "정부-민간 합동 원팀코리아가 꾸려져 키이우를 처음 방문하게 됐다. 정부 고위급 면담, 현지 네트워킹 및 구체적 프로젝트 발표 등의 성과를 거뒀다"고 전했다.
