브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 현대자동차(제네시스 포함)와 기아가 추석 연휴를 맞아 오는 25일부터 27일까지 3일간 전국 서비스 거점에서 ‘추석 특별 무상 점검 서비스’를 실시한다.
현대차·기아는 추석 귀성길 장거리 운행에 앞서 차량의 주요 부품 및 기능을 점검해 각종 사고를 미연에 방지하고 고객의 안전한 귀성길을 돕고자 이번 무상 점검 서비스를 마련했다.
점검 항목은 △오일류 △에어컨 △타이어 마모도 및 공기압 △브레이크 △각종 등화 장치 점등 상태 등이며 워셔액 보충 서비스도 제공한다.
이용을 원하는 고객은 오는 22일까지 △현대차 ‘마이현대(myHyundai)’ △기아 ‘마이기아(MyKia)’ △제네시스 ‘마이제네시스(MYGENESIS)’ 등 각 사 통합 고객 서비스 애플리케이션에서 무상 점검 쿠폰을 다운로드해야 한다.
이후 현대차 고객은 전국 블루핸즈, 기아 고객은 직영 서비스센터 및 오토큐를 방문해 무상 점검 쿠폰 제시 후 차량 검사를 받으면 된다. 기아 서비스센터의 경우 별도의 쿠폰 없이 당일 현장에서 점검이 가능하다.
현대차는 이번 무상점검 특별점검 서비스에 더해 금산 인삼랜드 휴게소에서 ‘고속도로 EV안심케어’를 추석 기간 무료로 운영한다.
고속도로 EV 안심케어는 차량간(V2V, Vehicle to Vehicle) 급속 충전 기술을 활용해 현대차와 제네시스 전기차 고객 대상으로 약 100km를 주행할 수 있는 20kWh의 전력을 충전하고 워셔액 및 타이어 공기압 보충도 해주는 서비스다.
해당 서비스는 하행선의 경우 27일부터 29일까지, 상행선의 경우 29일부터 30일까지 진행되며 휴게소에서 현장 신청하면 이용할 수 있다.
현대차·기아 관계자는 “추석을 맞아 고객의 안전한 귀성길에 도움이 되고자 무상 점검 서비스를 마련했다”며 “앞으로도 현대차·기아 고객이 안전 운전할 수 있도록 점검을 강화하겠다”고 말했다.
