영덕군, 지역치안협의회 정기회의 개최...“안심할 수 있는 치안환경 구축”

이번 회의엔 위원장 김광열 영덕군수와 부위원장 안해원 영덕경찰서장을 비롯해 손덕수 영덕군의회 의장, 윤인한 영덕교육지원청 교육장, 오범식 영덕소방서장, 김창수 대구보호관찰소 영덕지소장 등의 위원들이 자리했다.

협의회는 회의에 앞서 신규위원으로 위촉된 양우창 B.B.S 영덕지회장과 김보람 녹색어머니회 회장에게 위촉장을 수여했으며, 지난 12일 영덕군 지품면에서 실종자 구조에 큰 도움을 준 영덕읍 여성자율방범대 소속의 오동화 부대장과 하효연, 김춘례 대원 3명에게 감사패를 전달했다.

이어 회의에선 △아동양육시설 운영비 국비 환원 요청 △농산물 도난 방지 대책 등이 논의됐다.

안해원 영덕경찰서장 “최근 우리 경찰은 최근 신림동 흉기 난동 등 이상동기 범죄에 대응하기 위해 협력단체들과 협업해 특별치안 활동에 매진하고 있다”며, “특히, 추석 연휴를 앞두고 특별방범 활동을 전개해 농수산물 절도 예방과 교통사고 예방 등 군민의 안전을 위해 더욱 힘 쏟겠다”고 알렸다.

김광열 영덕군수 “지난 8월 우리 군은 143명의 자율방범대원을 위촉해 실종자가 발생 시 신속하게 대처하는 등 뚜렷한 성과를 올리고 있다”며, “앞으로 영덕군 치안협의회가 영덕군민과 관광객들 누구나 어디서든 안심할 수 있는 치안환경을 제공하는 데 있어 중추적인 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다”고 밝혔다.
