[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 의령군이 오는 10월 6일부터 9일까지 4일간 의령읍 서동생활공원 일원에서 ‘2023 토요애의령농특산물축제’를 개최한다.
토요애농특산물축제는 의령 고유의 전통음식과 지역에서 생산되는 농특산물의 우수성을 홍보하고 농가소득 향상을 위해 2019년부터 매년 개최되고 있다.
특히 지난해 의령리치리치페스티벌 기간에 동반 축제로 개최되면서 규모 면에서 더 큰 성장을 이뤄냈다.
의령군은 경남의 중심부에 있는 양호한 접근성과 비옥한 토양 환경으로 질 좋은 특산물이 많이 생산되고 있다.
지난해 축제에도 인기 농산물은 연일 일찍 동이나 관광객들이 구매를 서두르기 일쑤였다.
군은 현재 농특산물 꾸러미 상품 23종을 미리 주문받고 있으며 축제 기간 부스에서는 지역농특산물을 구매하는 방문객에게는 무료배송 서비스를 제공할 계획이다.
‘2023 토요애의령농특산물축제’는 먹거리, 볼거리, 즐길거리가 더욱 업그레이드 된다.
토요애 한우·한돈 시식, 밤·고구마 구워먹기, 부자떡 체험 등 먹거리가 풍부하고 400kg을 육박하는 우리나라 최고의 부자호박 전시 등의 볼거리, 박현빈, 서지오, 장하온, 배일호, 손빈아 등 인기가수가 총출동하는 화합한마당 가수축하공연 등 즐길거리가 넘쳐난다.
